Job Description

As a Software QA/QC professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software products by designing and implementing effective testing methodologies. You will work closely with development teams to identify and resolve bugs, verify fixes, and validate that the product meets all specified requirements.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to cover all aspects of software functionality.
Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking systems.
Collaborate with software developers and business analysts to identify potential risks and validate software requirements.
Conduct manual and automated tests to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and usability of software applications.
Participate in peer reviews of requirements, design documents, and test cases.
Manage and maintain testing environments, test data, and test equipment.
Continuously improve the QA process by identifying areas for efficiency, automation, and quality enhancement.
Monitor and report on test execution progress, test coverage, and defect statistics to project product owners.
Assist with the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and test reports.
Stay up-to-date with the latest QA/QC methodologies, tools, and technologies.

Job Requirements

Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance roles, preferably within a similar domain.
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Proficiency in testing techniques, test case design, and defect tracking systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and report software bugs effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented approach with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Familiarity with test automation tools and scripting languages is a plus.
Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or Quality Assurance certifications are advantageous.
